Mirador Morro de Toix
Just a short walk from Monte Toix, and you’ll feel like you’re floating between Calpe and Altea. The cliffs drop steeply below.
Mirador Peñón de Ifach
It’s a hike, but reaching the top of the Peñón is worth every step. You’ll see Calpe, the marina, and even Ibiza on a clear day.
Benidorm
Benidorm isn’t all high-rises. It’s also home to some stunning viewpoints, especially if you walk just a little off the beaten path.
Balcón del Mediterráneo
Right in the heart of old town, this white-and-blue tiled balcony juts out into the sea. Super photogenic, always lively.
Cruz de Benidorm
This one’s a little climb, but the cross and panoramic view over the skyline make it iconic. Go early morning or late afternoon.
Tossal de la Cala
An ancient Iberian settlement with epic views over Poniente Beach. History and horizon in one.
Moraira
Small, coastal with gorgeous lookouts. Castillo de Moraira A historic spot with views over the main beach and town, central and easy to access. Torre Vigía Cap d’Or A coastal watchtower with stunning sea cliffs below. Great for a morning hike.
Altea/Albir
Altea is charm in pure form and its viewpoints mix sea, whitewashed rooftops and green hills.
Mirador Cronistas de España
Right above the old town. Panoramic views, soft breeze and often musicians playing nearby.
Mirador del Portal Viejo
A little gem just off the main square. Feels like you’re peeking into a postcard.
Parque Natural de Sierra Helada
Hike towards the cliffs of Sierra Helada and you’ll get cliffside views over the sea and the bay that feel wild and untouched.
Faro de l’Albir
The lighthouse hike is a classic. Easy, beautiful, and ends with sea views and sometimes dolphins.
Jávea (Xàbia)
Jávea is blessed with dramatic coastline and forested hills, perfect for scenic stops.
Mirador Cap de Sant Antoni
A must. Overlooks the entire bay of Jávea with the Montgó mountain behind you and nothing but blue ahead.
Mirador La Falzia
Probably one of the most photographed in the region and for good reason. Great at sunrise or golden hour.
Mirador del Ambolo
Set high above the cliffs, with views towards the beach of Ambolo and the endless horizon.
Mirador de Cap Negre
Peaceful and wild-feeling. You might spot kayakers down below in the crystal-clear water.
Mirador de la Granadella
Located above the famous beach, it’s a good excuse to hike and enjoy turquoise views from above.
Dénia
Dénia is where sea meets mountains and that means plenty of good vantage points.
Castillo de Dénia
Climb the castle for city and sea views. You’re literally standing on centuries of history.
Parque Natural del Montgó
There are several miradores here, depending on your hike but the views are always rewarding.
Torre del Gerro
This ancient watchtower stands like a guardian over the coast. A short but steep hike gets you there.
Guadalest
Castillo de San José
A mountain village straight out of a fairytale and the views are unreal. The castle ruins give you full views over the reservoir and mountains.
Mirador del Embalse
A view over the turquoise lake, especially photogenic after some rain.
And there you go! Whether you’re road-tripping, hiking or just need a breather with a view, these spots are where you’ll want to stop. Most are free, some take a bit of walking, but all are worth it.
