Route description:
Ride out from the harbor and follow the coastal road towards El Portet beach, it’s only about 2 km, but absolutely beautiful.
From El Portet, continue gently uphill on the road that climbs along the cliffs.
The ascent is steady, offering wide sea views over hidden coves and the striking turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
There are plenty of scenic spots to stop for photos, take your time and enjoy the surroundings.
Once you reach the top, pause to soak in the panorama, then coast gently back down to Moraira.

Head out of Moraira following signs for Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitatxell)
Climb up through quiet residential streets until you reach the main access road to Cumbre del Sol
From here, the real challenge begins: steep gradients, tight switchbacks and dramatic coastal views
Take breaks at the many viewpoints to admire the cliffs, the sea, and the raw power of the landscape
At the top, ride toward the Mirador de la Granadella or the lighthouse for unbeatable panoramas over the coast
The thrilling descent back down is your well-earned reward
End point: Highest residential point or one of the official miradors at the top
